Martha Krueger's Music CD's
Martha Krueger is a full-time children's educator and performer in Hamilton, Ontario. She is dedicated to bringing quality music experiences to young children and has been doing so for 20 years. After studying Early Childhood Music at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto she began "Open Door Music" in July 2000. The curriculum she's written for this Early Childhood Music program encourages children with caregivers to engage in original and traditional songs using percussion instruments or props, and includes lots of learning through gross motor movement. Martha's classes are located in Hamilton, but she performs in libraries, stores, and Music Shows throughout the Hamilton area.

"Reach High in the sky, there's a great big joy comin' down on you..." - this opening line from the title track is a good description of the experience your child can expect as they listen to Martha's latest CD. That joy 'comes down' from such songs as "Move Your Feet" - a world beat stop-and-go tune featuring the djembe drum and djidgeridoo, and "Ba Na Na Na"- an easy to learn song about the harbour seal lying in the sun in the shape of a banana. Martha's passion for quality children's music is blended with her love of nature throughout this CD. The children's sweet voices singing with Martha will encourage young listeners to sing along. Martha Krueger - "Let Your Love Hang Out"
Martha's first CD is a welcome addition to the world of kids' music. Its styles range from folk, jazz, Celtic, and swing. Her beautiful singing voice and original songs help children stay positive about everyday things like - washing their hair or hot summer days, and will teach them about instruments, music families, and music dynamics, in fun, engaging ways. School age children as well as very young will want to move and sing along.
